PETROPERÚ guarantees the fuel supply

PETROPERÚ guarantees the fuel supply

"There is no shortage of fuel in the Ucayali region," said PETROPERU, through its Commercial Manager, Engineer Gustavo Navarro, who was firm in stating that the State-owned oil company has renewed its commitment to have the Ucayali market fully supplied with fuels, through its Sales Plant, with complete regularity in quantity, quality, and according to its pricing policy and complying with the current legal framework and good corporate practices. In this way, unfounded rumors about a probable shortage in the Ucayali region are ruled out.

"There is total commitment by PETROPERU to maintain the coverage of this important market," Navarro said before the Chamber of Commerce of Ucayali. There, the official said that with the arrival of 22 thousand barrels of diesel, the supply is guaranteed, and will continue normally, without any setback.

"The State-owned oil company has only one objective: to supply fuel to the whole country and Pucallpa cannot be the exception. PETROPERU is taking all the due measures so that the supply situation will be normal, as it has been until now," the Commercial Manager said.

In this sense, he was emphatic to point out that PETROPERU optimizes the logistics it has at a national level to meet the demand of the Ucayali region from the Pucallpa Sales Plant with competitive prices and respecting the exoneration of current taxes.

Finally, it was emphasized that PETROPERU has no responsibility whatsoever for the alleged lack of oil for the Pucallpa Refinery, operated by Petróleos de la Selva, nor does it have any interference in any commercial negotiations with private companies operating in the Ucayali Region.

PETROPERU is an ally for the Ucayali Region and is committed to its development.
