PETROPERÚ goes into the Morona communities to work on water projects

PETROPERU, under the framework of the agreement signed with the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, along with a technical team from the National Rural Sanitation Program, began working visits to 16 communities in the district of Morona, in the Datem del Marañón province, Loreto region, to gather information and to complement studies that allow the elaboration of public investment projects in water and sanitation, through the mechanism of works for taxes.

The objective is to benefit 22 Morona communities. These are Antena Cuatro, Copacabana, Dos Hermanos, Luz del Oriente, Nueva Union, Nueva Vida, Nuevo Milagro, Nuevo Paragua, Nuevo San Martín, Paragua Viejo, Puerto Libre, San Francisco, Santa Rosa del Marañón, Santa Rosa, Tierra Blanca and Vista Alegre, Yamakay, Bancal, Copales, Mayuriaga, Puerto Alegría and Puerto América.

These activities reaffirm the commitment of the oil company to improve the quality of life of the populations and communities neighboring its facilities, within the framework of its social management policies.
