Petroperú extends the deadline for the 2024 Copé Awards
The XXIII Short Story Biennial and IX Essay Biennial “2024 Copé Award” extends its call until Friday, December 27 of this year.
To participate, interested parties must submit their works, in an unpublished manner, in PDF format and with a pseudonym, presenting it virtually on the contest website.
In this space, you can find out the rules of the contests called, the registration form and all the information related to the literary contest in the short story and essay categories. The deadline for the contests closes on Friday, December 27, 2024.
The qualifying jury for each category will be made up of a representative from each of the following institutions: Peruvian Academy of Language, Ministry of Culture, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and the Peruvian House of Literature. The results of the competition will be announced in the first half of 2025.
The Copé Award is a literary competition organized and promoted by Petroperú since 1979, and this year 2024 marks 45 years of constant promotion and dissemination of Peruvian literature throughout the country. All of this is another expression of the corporate social responsibility of the state oil company and its commitment to the development of culture and education in Peru.
