PETROPERU extends an invitation to the expo-sale of crafts from ayacucho Sumacc Llamcaycuna
On Tuesday, December 4, at noon, the inauguration of the Ayacucho handcraft sale and exhibition "Sumacc Llamcaycuna" took place in the Art Room of the PETROPERU Cultural Center (Av. Canaval Moreyra 150, San Isidro), which will be open to public Monday through Friday from 11 am to 6 pm, until December 21. Admission is free.
Sumacc Llamcaycuna, which in Quechua means Beautiful Works, brings together a set of five associations of weavers, potters, Pirwa artists and wood carvers, who show unique crafts and textiles that stand out for the care and dedication with which the pieces have been made.
In the exhibition you can appreciate from miniature births to huge basilicas and mangers carved by the hands of experienced Ayacucho artists that make up the Artisans Quarter of Lurin.
This way, PETROPERU, as part of its social responsibility policy, seeks to promote and disseminate the country's cultural diversity, contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and equitable culture.
