PETROPERÚ donated musical instruments to school bands of Villa El Salvador

As part of the activities to launch the 2019 School Bands Program, PETROPERU delivered musical instruments to two educational institutions in Villa El Salvador that neighbor the Conchán Refinery: Peruano-Canadiense and Elías Aguirre.

The delivery ceremony was attended by the directors of both schools and a representative of PETROPERU, as well as teachers and students.

This program is based on the implementation of the music bands of the schools and provide the required musical training, including the participation of a teacher throughout the year.

The School Bands Program began in 2018 in three schools, while this year the aforementioned educational institutions were added.

The main objective of this initiative is to use art as a means for the integral development of young students through the promotion of values and offering activities of healthy entertainment.

This activity is aligned with the Social Management Policy of PETROPERU, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life and well-being of the population neighboring its facilities.
