PETROPERU delivers food baskets to the vulnerable population of Ilo
Continuing with its work of social action and in accordance with the efforts made by the government in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, PETROPERU delivered more than 800 baskets of basic necessities in the city of Ilo, destined for the most vulnerable population, such as children, older adults and people with chronic diseases.
On this occasion, the delivery was made to the municipal authorities, which - soon - will be distributed to the residents of the Wireless Pampa, where the largest number of human settlements in that port is concentrated.
Gerardo Carpio Díaz, provincial mayor of Ilo, expressed his appreciation for PETROPERU's permanent commitment to the local population, noting that this effort by the oil company will alleviate the requirements of hundreds of families in this stage of national emergency.
The delivery of food is part of the activities established in PETROPERU's Social Management plan.
