Continuing with its policy of promoting culture, PETROPERU delivered an important donation of Copé and Braille edition books to the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima's Bibliometro project (MML), which operates in the Metropolitan Central Station.

Sintya Vilca, Head of Cultural Management of PETROPERU, highlighted the importance of the bibliographic contribution. "We are very pleased to collaborate with this initiative of the municipality and we are convinced that many people will benefit from free access to these editions," he said.

For his part, Alex Alejandro, head of the Lima Reads program of the MML, thanked PETROPERÚ for this contribution of the Copé collection and especially for the Braille books, which will allow people with visual disabilities to approach reading. "We are sure that this joint work will provide a better service to the neighbors," he said.

It should be noted that Bibliómetro offers the book lending service for up to a week, upon registration. This project has more than two thousand users and until last year more than three thousand loans had been made.

This way, PETROPERÚ ratifies its commitment to promote reading and promote the implementation of libraries and information centers, both in Lima and in the interior of the country.
