In order to contribute to the habit of reading in schoolchildren, Petroperú recently delivered 600 books from its Copé publishing label to rural and urban educational institutions in Iquitos, benefiting more than five thousand primary and secondary students.

In this way, works from anthologies, novels, poetry, short stories and other literary genres by renowned authors, such as César Vallejo or Abraham Valdelomar, as well as books that compile the history of Peru and others that recount the route through the Amazon, are already part of the from the libraries of the educational institutions Lieutenant Manuel Clavero, José de San Martín, Fernando Lores Tenazoa, C.E.BA. Mariscal Óscar R. Benavides, Sagrada Familia and Picuro Yacu, as well as the Javier Heraud Cultural Association.

It should be noted that Petroperú carries out this initiative constantly in various cities of the country, as part of its cultural management policy and its firm commitment to promoting art and reading among young people in educational centers, municipal libraries, institutes and universities. among others.
