PETROPERU delivered school supplies to 7 thousand children from Villa El Salvador and Lurín

PETROPERU will benefit more than 7,000 students from 10 educational institutions in Villa El Salvador and Lurín, neighbors of Conchán Refinery, with the delivery of school packages.

On the first day of delivery, the educational institutions Las Palmeras, Jesús de Nazaret and Perú Valladolid were visited, where hundreds of students received notebooks, pencils, rules and other school supplies that will contribute to the educational development of the children.

Similar deliveries will be made in the next few days at the Peruano-Canadiense, Elías Remigio Aguirre, Max Uhle, Naciones Unidas, Señor de los Milagros, Rodrigo Lara Bonilla and Santa Rosa de Llanavilla schools.

This first installment was attended by members of the NGO Fundación Calma, which specializes in prevention of school violence, such as bullying. They offered awareness talks about how to prevent harassment, various kinds of abuse and physical or emotional aggression.

A total of 7,051 school kits will be delivered to 8 schools in Villa El Salvador and 2 in Lurín where PETROPERU has a significant presence year after year, not only providing supplies for children, but also giving talks, offering theater workshops and awarding musical instruments for develop and encourage the creativity of children.

This contribution from the Company for the benefit of students is aligned with the Social Management Policy, which seeks to contribute to the development and quality of life of its stakeholders.
