PETROPERU deliver school supplies to 35 thousand students of native communities

As part of its social management program Educando para el Mañana (Educating for Tomorrow), PETROPERU began the delivery of 35 thousand school supplies packages for the benefit of an equal number of students from the communities and neighboring population centers of the North Peruvian Pipeline - ONP, located in the geographical area from the departments of Loreto, Amazonas, Cajamarca, Lambayeque and Piura.

In order to comply with the distribution of school supplies, personnel from the ONP Stations move along the Marañón River to reach the communities surrounding Section I, while personnel from the Andoas and Morona Stations do it for the communities settled in the North Branch.

Delivery will continue along Section II from Saramiriza, Santa Maria de Nieva, Imacita, Bagua, among others, passing through populated centers of Olmos to Sechura, where the Bayóvar Terminal is located.

In this way, 450 public educational institutions located in 290 communities and population centers are being visited.

This contribution from PETROPERU, for the benefit of schoolchildren, is aligned with the Social Management Policy, which seeks to contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the communities that are close to their operations.
