PETROPERÚ declares the nullity of biodiesel contract

In view of the journalistic versions about the process of acquiring Biodiesel B100 in the local market from Heaven Petroleum Operators, PETROPERÚ addresses the public opinion to report the following:

1. The Administration of PETROPERÚ decided to declare the nullity of the contracts derived from the Competition Process N ° COM-012-2021-GDCH/PETROPERÚ “Acquisition of Biodiesel B100 in the local market for the period January-April 2022”, having detected that no A notary public was present at the reception of the proposals, as indicated in the procedure.
2. In line with its commitment to guarantee the supply of the hydrocarbon market, PETROPERÚ will make a new call to meet the demand for this product.
3. Likewise, it guarantees its commitment to transparency in the processes of contracting goods and services, following the procedures established by the Company and within the current legal framework.
4. Regarding the preliminary investigations that the Public Ministry and the Comptroller General of the Republic have been carrying out on this issue, PETROPERÚ has provided all facilities and has been responding to requests for information on this process. In this sense, it reiterates and reaffirms its willingness to continue collaborating with the control and oversight bodies.
