PETROPERU controlled incident in Station 5

PETROPERU reports that today, Thursday, October 18, at 10:10 an incident occurred in a crude oil tank at Station No. 5, located in the province of Datem del Marañón, Loreto, the cause of which is under investigation.

Immediately the Fire Contingency Plan was activated, and it was controlled by specialized personnel and equipment at 10:35 hours.

However, a PETROPERU worker was slightly injured. This was Mr. Santos Humberto Neira Ramírez, who was near z to the area of the incident and who has been given medical attention in the case.

In addition to having initiated the corresponding investigations, the Company has been informing the competent authorities of the status of the situation described.
