PETROPERÚ contributes to the supply of drinking water due to shortages in Talara
Given the shortage of drinking water due to the connection works in the service conduction line to four districts of the province of Talara, PETROPERÚ joins the contingency actions carried out by EPS Grau, providing the potable water service by cistern to the sectors of the South and North Cone and Downtown of the district of Pariñas.
For this, PETROPERÚ acquired more than 90 thousand gallons of the liquid element, which will be delivered to the affected population starting today, in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Talara, EPS Grau and the presidents of the Neighborhood Councils.
In this way, PETROPERÚ reaffirms its solidarity support to the communities close to its different operations, being always present in difficult or emergency moments, as it does now with the distribution of drinking water to the most vulnerable population of the oil province, thus contributing to reduce health risks from COVID-19 and other diseases.
