PETROPERU continues to warm hearts in its campaign against frosts
PETROPERU managed to arouse smiles among the residents of several communities in Pasco, where the state oil company delivered hundreds of blankets as part of its solidarity campaign for those affected by the low temperatures.
The delivery, made with the support of the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI) was possible thanks to the valuable and important contribution of the workers of PETROPERU and of the Company itself.
In this opportunity, the delivery was made in villages of the communities of Cutan Huay Huay and Chacacancha, located at 3970 and 4400 meters above sea level respectively. Here the blankets were received by the representatives of the communities and families most affected by the harsh climate that is causing havoc in this time, especially among the youngest and the elderly.
The residents welcomed this solidarity support and agreed to thank the delivery of the blankets, which seek to alleviate the intense cold of the area.
The representative of INDECI, Roddy Henderson, said that this day is possible thanks to an intense work coordinated with the workers of the first company in the country.
It should be noted that this day will be replicated in the highlands of Moquegua and Puno, as was done last week in the district of Villa María del Triunfo, in Lima.
