PETROPERU committed to the health care of schoolchildren from Ilo

Continuing with its commitment to the population of Ilo, PETROPERU held today a day of preventive health for the benefit of more than a thousand students, as well as the faculty of the Educational Institution Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera of that city.
The student population and the teachers participated in a talk about skin care - especially when exposed to sunlight - by specialists in dermatology. In addition, they were given caps and sun-blocking cream so they can protect themselves from solar radiation, given the proximity of summer.
The experts explained to the students the dangers of exposing the skin - without any protection - to the sun's rays, as well as the correct use of the different types of sun blockers, encouraging them to use them every time they go out.
The campaign, which is called "The Sun and Health", had great acceptance among school children and teachers, who highlighted the company's effort to carry out this initiative for health care from an early age.
This medical session culminated in the skin check of the students to detect existing dermatological problems, such as acne, spots and moles, among others, and thus be able to recommend an adequate treatment.
