Petroperú closed School Band Program

After several months of rehearsals and tests, more than 30 students from various schools in Villa El Salvador were able to strengthen their skills with various instruments, thanks to the musical program that Petroperú offered, free of charge, in that district of that south of Lima. 

During the closing ceremony, the students of the Max Uhle, Las Palmeras, Peruano Canadiense, Elias Aguirre and Jesús Nazareth educational centers offered a concert in the El Olivar auditorium, in San Isidro, demonstrating their skills in the execution of musical instruments, such as the saxophone, clarinet and trombone, among others. 

The activity was the corollary of several days of coexistence and musical exchange, where children were trained in new methodologies of study and learning through music, keys to their development in school life, turning each opportunity into a way to learn and develop the talent of childhood into positive activities. 

On the day, with the participation of the Youth Symphony Orchestra, diplomas were awarded to the minors who were part of this program that Petroperú carries out in line with its Social Management Policy that aims to improve the quality of life of the populations close to its operations at the national level.
