PETROPERU clarifies that there are no dismissals in works of the New Ilo Terminal

Given journalistic versions on possible dismissals of personnel in the works of the New Ilo Terminal, PETROPERU addresses public opinion to inform the following:

1. The construction of the new Ilo Terminal continues its execution, which to date is 28%. The contracting company Felguera, in charge of the EPC service (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), has been carrying out the respective work normally and has not made any dismissal of the personnel that works in the work.
2. It should be noted that labor requirements are made according to the progress of the same and the required profiles. To date, and according to the established commitments, preference continues to be given to local labor. The calls for employment are made by the contractors themselves and are channeled through the Ministry of Labor.
3. PETROPERU reaffirms in this way its commitment to contribute to the development of the Moquegua region, providing job opportunities to the local population and supervising compliance with labor standards and rights.
