PETROPERU clarifies that it does not have pending debts with the Felguera contractor

Given the journalistic versions about an alleged debt of PETROPERU to Felguera, the main contractor of the new Ilo Terminal project and related issues, PETROPERU addresses the public opinion to clarify that:

1. PETROPERU has no outstanding debts with the Felguera company and it in turn has informed that it has complied with making the corresponding payments to its subcontractors for the work in the construction of the new Ilo Terminal.
2. If there were any non-compliances with payments for services provided to the project by sub-contractor companies, PETROPERU recommends the allegedly aggrieved companies to present their claims through the corresponding legal channels so that the non-compliance is evidenced and the corresponding payment is demanded.
3. PETROPERU manifests its willingness to dialogue with any person or company that feels affected by a breach of contractor companies and to carry out the corresponding follow-up to those responsible with the purpose of reaching solutions that benefit all. For this purpose, they should go to the Information and Communication Office of the project, located at Jr. Junín No. 414-207. Likewise, through the mailboxes of claims and/or suggestions installed in the offices of the Municipality or in the same workplace.
4. On the other hand, PETROPERU states that the meeting of the Dialogue Table scheduled for Friday, October 12 was suspended by the Municipality of Ilo due to issues of force majeure not belonging to PETROPERU; however, representatives of PETROPERU were present at the place and time initially established, subsequently retiring from the premises.
5. PETROPERU regrets that inaccurate and uncorroborated information about its activities is published and invites the media and the general public to communicate with the representatives of the Company in Ilo to clarify any questions or information about them.
