Petroperú clarifies information about the company's salary scale

Given journalistic versions about the company's salary scales, Petroperú clarifies the following:

1. Petroperú's current salary scale was approved in April 2021 and since that date it has been published on the institutional portal, as part of the transparency and good corporate governance policy.
2. The payroll of the company's personnel is paid entirely with Petroperú's own resources and not with funds from the Public Treasury.
3. The total amount of the payroll is equivalent to approximately 3.7% of the company's sales income, a percentage that is below the average in the hydrocarbon sector.
4. The financial support that the State has granted exceptionally has been used exclusively for purchases of crude oil and fuel, to guarantee the supply of fuel throughout the country.
5. It is important to note that, as part of the execution of the company's Restructuring Plan, the members of the Board of Directors and management positions have been selected by headhunters, in meritocratic and transparent processes, within the framework of guidelines established by the National Financing Fund. of State Business Activity (FONAFE).
