Petroperú celebrates Christmas with thousands of children from Talara
As part of its social program Despertando Sonrisas (Waking Up Smiles), Petroperú began its Christmas activities to benefit Talara children from the districts of Pariñas, La Brea-Negritos, Lobitos and El Alto.
The more than nine thousand benefited children enjoyed a unique artistic show, also receiving toys and candy, thus sharing a pleasant moment typical of these happy and festive dates.
Likewise, in this gesture of solidarity and commitment, presents were given to minors registered at the Municipal Office for the Care of People with Disabilities (OMAPED) Talara, who also enjoyed a fun artistic presentation.
Since its creation, Petroperú has developed social activities and projects in the areas of influence of its operations, as part of its social commitment – established in its Social Management plan – to achieve well-being and strengthen good relations with the communities, placing special emphasis on these end-of-year dates, when solidarity, gratitude and hope for a better future are fostered.
