PETROPERU carries out training on issues of transparency and integrity

Within the framework of the agreement signed with Proética, PETROPERU carried out –online- the workshop “Transparency in the management of PETROPERU”, seeking to sensitize those responsible for access to public information on citizen care and transparency in the Business management.

The conference had as speakers Samuel Rotta Castillo, deputy executive director of Proética, who addressed the topic: Transparency as a mechanism to fight corruption and Carolina Gibu, executive director and founding partner of Ciudadanos al Día who discussed everything related to care to the citizen.

Marcia Águila Salazar, from the Directorate of Transparency and Protection of Personal Data of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights was also present at the workshop, with the central theme: Scope of the Transparency and Access to Public Information Law.

The day had the special participation of the Chairman of the Board of PETROPERU, Eduardo Guevara Dodds, who thanked the speakers for sharing the importance of transparent management in such an important company, such as the state oil company.

"I also thank our workers, who aim to reinforce our values and our organizational culture as a company committed to integrity, transparency and the fight against corruption," said the official.

He added that an important part of the essence and philosophy of PETROPERU is transparency, which is why he ratified the institution's commitment to honesty and open information with interest groups and citizens in general.

In turn, the General Manager of the state oil company, Carlos Barrientos Gonzales, asked to banish all culture of secrecy, working together to provide citizens with clear, precise and reliable information, thus strengthening the responsibility and credibility of the first company in the country.
