PETROPERU carries out third free health campaign for the population of the southern area of Talara

As part of its social responsibility program, PETROPERU carried out the third health campaign so far this year, providing specialized medical care to low-income patients in Talara.

For almost six hours, specialists in ophthalmology, psychology, general medicine, dentistry, pediatrics and laboratory attended more than 850 people from the southern cone, adults and children, who came to the Casa de la Juventud from early on.

The patients had access to laboratory tests and medicine delivered free of charge. Likewise, they received guidance on how to adopt healthy habits that allow reducing the rates of cardiovascular diseases caused by a high caloric diet and sedentary habits.

To this initiative, the players of the Atletico Torino were added who delivered informative material with healthy tips and they urged them to practice sport of frequent way, as well as to consume foods rich in proteins and low in fat and natural drinks or water instead of liquids with high sugar content

In this way, PETROPERU reaffirms its commitment to a better quality of life for more people, bringing medical services to the population at no cost and promoting the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. They also reported that so far this year two more medical campaigns will be carried out between the months of September and October.
