PETROPERU carries out medical campaigns in Iquitos

Hundreds of families from various communities in the city of Iquitos participated in the medical campaigns carried out in Santa Clara I, Picuro Yacu and Barrio Florido, organized by PETROPERU in coordination with the Regional Health Directorate Loreto.

The activity, which is part of the Company's commitment to the development and quality of life of the Amazonian peoples, took place from December 18 to 20, in which attention was given to the specialties of general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, dentistry and psychology

In this context, they were carried out from rapid tests of HIV detection, dental fluoridation to children, talks about the correct brushing of teeth to vaccination for household pets.

In total, there were more than 300 people attended for free in these Preventive Health Medical Campaigns.

These activities reaffirm the commitment of the state oil company to improve the quality of life of the populations and communities near its facilities, within the framework of its Social Management Plan.
