PETROPERU brought joy to more than 5,000 children of Iquitos

Sharing the spirit of Christmas in communities and human settlements, PETROPERU entertained more than 5,000 children from communities surrounding the Iquitos Refinery, Poliduct, AND Human Settlements near the Iquitos and Airport Sales Plants.

The Eng. Oscar Vera, Sub Manager of Selva Refining, addressed each of the populations benefited with this program: "We are with you, as every year, to celebrate this Christmas and I hope it finds us in unity and harmony with our family and our friends. Let us keep our hearts full of faith, with hope, today we have come to share with you the Christmas spirit bringing joy and a show imbued with values and love for our neighbor and nature".

This activity was developed as part of the "Despertando Sonrisas" program of Social Management, benefiting children from 11 communities located on the banks of the Amazon and Nanay rivers, students of the I.E. "New Punchana" in Masusa, 10 Human Settlements of the District of Punchana and Airport in San Juan, who expressed their gratitude for the present and emotional shared moments.
