PETROPERU brings the magic of the circus to the children of Villa El Salvador
To promote art and values among the children of the Human Settlements (AAHH) of Villa El Salvador (VES), near the Conchán Refinery, PETROPERU has been implementing a program of community circus workshops run by the Bigote de Gato Cultural Association.
Through these workshops, in which 40 children from 9 to 12 years of age from the AAHH Zona Playa and Parque Metropolitano will participate, the objective is that the children improve their self-esteem and develop their artistic skills with circus and theatre activities that will be practiced in the open air.
Thus, for three months, the slabs Héroes del Cenepa and Alameda Pueblos Unidos from Víctor Chero will become the scenarios where stilt classes, juggling, ball balancing and other stunts will be developed for the participants.
These activities will also involve the participation of parents and the community in general, who will support this initiative with the commitment to keep the spaces where the workshops will be clean and in good condition.
