PETROPERU brings entertainment and culture to the population of Iquitos
- Open day will be repeated in other towns near the ONP
A day of healthy entertainment was lived by more than 200 residents of communities neighboring the Refinery Iquitos, PETROPERU, with the screening of the feature film "Rio."
The spectators of Barrio Florido, Santa Clara Zone II, Costanera and Independencia; all located on the left bank of the Amazon River, enjoyed the events of this fun film, projected on a giant screen, never seen before in the communities, and for free.
It should be noted that, for many children, this was their first experience of seeing a projection on a screen over seven meters high.
This activity is part of the Cultural Management actions of PETROPERU, with the purpose of sharing moments of entertainment, integration and culture. It also reinforces the commitment of cultural decentralization assumed by the oil company, facilitating access to diverse artistic manifestations to the rural populations of the country.
Soon similar projections will be developed in communities and localities neighboring the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP).
