PETROPERÚ bets on culture in the country and maintains a busy agenda of online activities

As part of its activities for the national bicentennial, PETROPERÚ keeps its cultural activities agenda active in August, which includes new events such as talks, workshops and conferences, all virtually, totally free and broadcast on the Facebook live of the Cultural Center of the state company and on the web www.cultura.petroperu.com.pe.

This is how next Monday, August 9, the renowned writer and teacher Ricardo Sumalavia will start a short story workshop, which will run on the fourth Monday of the month.

The next day, Tuesday 10, a new cycle of talks for schoolchildren will begin, called "Knowing is wanting", with the theme "Women who fought for the independence of Peru." The day will be in charge of four authors of the book of the same name, which has been published by PETROPERÚ.

On Thursday, August 12 there will be a new discussion about the exhibition "Heroes and heroines of Peruanidad", this time with the theme Culture and diversity and, on Friday 13, the second edition of the interview program "COPÉrsaciones de Oro”, which will summon the winners of the Copé Poetry Award from 1982 to 2021. There will be 20 programs that will be held on Fridays of each month, until December.

Simultaneously, the dissemination of two artistic and virtual exhibitions continues: the exhibition "Eyes of the Amazon" and "Heroes and heroines of Peru", via the website www.cultura.petroperu.com.pe

In this way, PETROPERÚ, in this very special year, maintains its constant commitment to promote a series of cultural activities and, in that sense, is committed to programming days that - amid the social isolation caused by the pandemic - maintains and reinforces the spirit of learning, appreciation and healthy recreation through art and culture.
