PETROPERÚ benefits more than 30 thousand students from native communities with school supplies

PETROPERÚ will benefit a total of 30,334 students from communities located in the area of influence of the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP) with the delivery of school supply packages, as part of its Educating for Tomorrow Program.

The benefited students belong to 397 public educational institutions, from 252 communities and population centers of the Loreto, Amazonas, Cajamarca, Lambayeque and Piura regions, areas of direct influence of the ONP.

Considering the distance and the geographical difficulties, the delivery is being made directly to the students and teachers in each educational institution in the communities or populated centers. These deliveries have been made for more than a decade in a sustained manner.

With this program, PETROPERÚ facilitates the development of the pedagogical work of the public schools located on the pipeline route and reaffirms its commitment to education, as part of its Social Management Policy in its areas of influence.
