Petroperú leads the maintenance work at the Inca Pachacútec coliseum, in the La Brea-Negritos district, in Talara, after the signing of the land delivery certificate by the district authority. Upon completion of the works, said sports facility will provide athletes and the general population with a space in which sports and recreational activities are encouraged.

The work includes the disassembly, elimination and installation of drywall panels with a galvanized steel structure and the placement of studs and plates on the ceiling and walls of the venue, with capacity for eight thousand spectators.

Likewise, the maintenance and change of polycarbonate plates and metal structure will also be carried out; as well as the repair of the perimeter wall; the reconstruction and maintenance of bathrooms and the painting of the sports ground, grandstands, façade and interiors of the coliseum.

In this way, the state company fulfills its commitment to the residents of this district of Talara, where Petroperú operates Lot I, maintaining optimal and sustained production, reaching average production flows of 506 BOPD (barrels of oil per day).

It is important to specify that the execution of this project is carried out through a contractor company and has the participation of labor from the area, selected in coordination with the presidents of the neighborhood associations of the sector and the District Municipality of La Brea-Negritos.

Social commitment

This and other initiatives of Petroperú are carried out in line with the Community Relations Plan of Lot I, in coordination with local authorities and in order to contribute to the sustainable development of this district of Talara.

As part of these actions, it delivers school packs to public educational institutions to strengthen teaching work for the benefit of thousands of schoolchildren. Likewise, it carries out free medical campaigns and promotes entrepreneurship among the women of the district through training and the delivery of seed capital to generate new businesses that contribute to economic dynamism.
