PETROPERÚ at the forefront of business in its automation processes

PETROPERÚ, at the forefront in the optimization processes in its services, began the implementation of the Level Measurement Automation System, in its tanks at the Conchán Refinery, south of Lima, with more than 30 radar-type gauges that will improve the security of your operations. The process includes training for operational personnel.

This automation will guarantee precise measurements and safe operations in the transfer and level control/alarms in the tank farm, reducing logistics costs, minimizing possible errors in the processes and achieving an increase in the speed of the execution of the tasks.

Likewise, it will increase the possibility of obtaining reports quickly at the right time, having control of the results in real time. Compared to manual systems, automation systems offer superior performance in terms of precision, power and speed of operation.

The modern system includes a sophisticated control panel, with online monitoring of storage capacity and the possibility of configuring automatic alerts that minimize possible emergency situations.

It should be noted that the Conchán Refinery has been working for 48 years with the task of processing, refining and storing products such as gasoline, solvents, diesel 2, diesel B5, industrial oils and export quality asphalt.
