Petroperú appoints its new Legal Manager

As part of the company's restructuring, Petroperú's Board of Directors appointed Mario Fernando Urrello Leyva as the new Legal Manager, a qualified position of direction and trust, as of February 15, 2024. He was selected by a specialized headhunter firm.

Urrello is a lawyer from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres and a master's degree in Constitutional Law and Human Rights from the University of Bologna (Italy), with a postgraduate degree in Conventional Law from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and with a specialization in Business Labor Law in ESAN. He has an extensive professional career of more than 25 years in environmental and hydrocarbon law issues, among others.

This appointment is part of the change process that the State oil company is carrying out in its organizational structure, thus fulfilling one of the objectives of the Restructuring Plan to strengthen Petroperú's governance and ensure its financial sustainability.
