Petroperú appoints its new General Manager

The Board of Directors of Petroperú agreed to appoint Beatriz Cristina Fung Quiñones as General Manager - starting August 1, 2024 - a position considered to be one of direction and trust.

Cristina Fung is a public accountant, a master's degree holder with a specialization in Finance from ESAN University, with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of strategic and financial planning, budget management, risks and insurance in the hydrocarbon sector. She has also studied in the General Management Program - PAD at the University of Piura and at the IESE Business School University of Navarra.

In 2020, she was the first woman appointed to the position of general manager of the company. Previously, she served as corporate manager of Planning, Management and Risks, as well as Administration and Finance at Petroperú.
