PETROPERÚ announces exhibition of the renowned painter loretano Gino Ceccarelli
On Tuesday October 15 at 7 pm, in the environments of the Prefecture of Loreto, PETROPERU, in coordination with the Decentralized Directorate of Culture of Loreto, will open the exhibition “Entre el semi cielo y el semi mundo”, shows that it groups the best works of the renowned Loreto painter Gino Ceccarelli on the magical world of the Peruvian Amazon.
The exhibition presents works of large formats: " Hacia la tierra sin mal ", "Mamá sirena" or "Cazador de Sirenas", all characters of the Amazonian mythology. Ceccarelli's spectacular show links elements of the artist's creative universe - mermaids, the moon, rivers, the jungle - with the defense of nature and the relationship between man and his community.
Gino Ceccarelli Bardales was born in Iquitos, is a plastic artist, graphic designer, researcher and consultant on culture and tourism in the Amazon; as well as cartoonist, illustrator, sculptor, theater decorator, producer on film and television projects, opinion writer and Sunday writer. For 30 years his plastic work has been inspired by the myths and legends of the Amazon, and the cosmogony of the diverse cultures that inhabit it.
This exhibition is part of the PETROPERU Cultural Management Plan, one of whose pillars is the promotion and dissemination of the varied cultural manifestations of Amazonian communities and artists; line of action that has been a constant throughout the history of the Company.
Additionally, the exhibition “Entre el Semi Cielo y el Semi Mundo”, is part of the activities for the 37 years of Iquitos Refinery and the celebration of the 50 years of creation of PETROPERU and will be open to the public from Monday to Friday from 08:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., until October 30. Free admission.
