PETROPERÚ and Universidad San Marcos sign strategic collaboration agreement

PETROPERU and the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement, which aims to carry out programs and projects for development, research, innovation and technical training that allow the transfer of knowledge to prioritized locations located in the scope of influence of the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP).

The president of the state oil company, Carlos Paredes Lanatta highlighted the impact of this agreement because - he said - it will strengthen relations with our stakeholders in the ONP. "This alliance allows us to undertake new projects in favor of the communities surrounding our operations and today the National University of San Marcos gives us the opportunity to improve our attention in these areas," he said.

The event was attended by the rector of the National University of San Marcos, Orestes Cachay Boza and the General Manager of PETROPERU, Carlos Barrientos Gonzales, who signed the document.

This agreement is part of the Triple Helix Model, which is a scheme for growth and development, promoted by the Dean of America and based on the strategic collaboration of academia, government and companies.
