PETROPERÚ and the municipality of Talara will promote the execution of important social projects
Committed to the development of the province of Talara, PETROPERÚ and the Provincial Municipality of Talara signed an inter-institutional framework agreement to strengthen cooperation ties for the benefit of the population of Talara.
The agreement, which is valid for three years, seeks to promote the implementation of social projects in various areas, such as education, infrastructure, urban development, community health and stimulation of local employment. Both institutions are committed to developing activities jointly, joining efforts to contribute to developing and improving living conditions in this important province in the north of the country.
Among the most important initiatives that are expected to be carried out in the coming weeks is the installation of two underground cisterns with a pumping system, which will allow expanding the storage capacity of the cisterns in the Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre human settlement and in the Felipe Santiago Salaverry estate.
Likewise, various projects for the recovery of public spaces and green areas in 46 points of the city will be implemented, with which it is expected to generate 600 temporary jobs in the order of 200 per month, with a bimonthly rotation system, as well as the recovery of important roads in the city such as the North Cone highway and Av. A (lower area), among other activities.
As can be recalled, on the first week of May the General Manager of PETROPERÚ, Carlos Barrientos Gonzales, held an important working meeting with the municipal authority of the province of Talara, José Vitonera Infante, who reported the status of the various projects and activities that are being carried out this year.
