Petroperú and the Ministry of Health join forces in favor of early childhood

In coordination with the health centers of the Villa El Salvador district, Petroperú once again provided its support to the so-called Early Childhood Fair, which took place at the Brisas de Pachacamac Health Post, belonging to the Ministry of Health, reaffirming its commitment to ensure the health and protection of the little ones.

On this occasion, this event was attended by more than 200 residents of the area, beneficiaries of the national Cuna Más program, and where – at no cost – nearly a hundred minors were treated in hemoglobin, growth and development measurement services; as well as in immunization, general medicine, dental care and nutrition. Parents in attendance were provided with family planning guidance.

Likewise, complementary activities were carried out, presenting stories that addressed topics such as the importance of play for the development of children, as a strategy to release fears, anxieties and manage - optimally - their emotions.

The participants agreed to highlight the importance of these days as they raise awareness among the population about prevention, physical care and emotional care of minors.

These actions, which Petroperú continuously carries out in its areas of influence, have the objective of bringing health services closer to the population and promoting healthy lifestyles for the prevention of childhood diseases.
