PETROPERU and the Chamber of Commerce sign collaboration agreement
Petroperu and the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Talara signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting the strengthening of the business management of the incorporated companies and that develop activities in the city of Talara, prior to the execution of the construction works of the five auxiliary units that will be part of the new Talara Refinery.
The signing of the agreement was done by the general manager of PETROPERU, Esteban Bertarelli Bustamante and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Talara, Eduardo Vivar Heredia, in a ceremony that was attended by executives of the business entity as well as of the state company.
With the signing of this agreement, the institutions involved made a commitment to create a database of local companies, which will provide relevant information on the business capacity of the province for the acquisition of goods and services, which will be made available to the contractor responsible for the construction of the Auxiliary Units and Complementary Works of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT). For this purpose, homologation standards will be promoted and business management will be strengthened by organizing training courses.
The agreement signed goes into effect from its subscription and will be extended throughout the execution period of the auxiliary units and complementary works of the new Talara Refinery.
