Petroperú, Perupetro and Altamesa Energy sign the assignment of the contractual position of Lot 192

Petroperú S.A., Perupetro and Altamesa Energy signed today the transfer of contractual position of the License Contract for the Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in Lot 192, authorized by the Executive Branch, through Supreme Decree 005-2024 – EM promulgated on February 3 .

As of this subscription, the Canadian company Altamesa Energy Perú S.A.C. becomes the strategic operating partner in the exploitation of the country's main crude oil producing field, with a 61% participation in the hydrocarbon exploitation contract. Meanwhile, Petroperú S.A. maintains 39%.

In accordance with the work program established in the Lot 192 License Agreement, the consortium must drill 41 development wells and one exploratory well during the first period of the exploitation phase.

Lot 192

Lot 192 is located in the district of Andoas, Datem del Marañón province, Tigre and Trompeteros districts, in the Loreto region.

Since it took over its operation, Petroperú S.A. has been carrying out pre-operational work for the reactivation and subsequent start of oil production, work that it will carry out with its strategic partner.
