PETROPERU: first to receive certification in Integrated Management System

PETROPERU became the first Peruvian company, in the hydrocarbons sector, to receive corporate certification in Integrated Corporate Management System (SIG-C).

The Integrated Corporate Management System includes the international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, becoming the first company in the hydrocarbons sector to be certified with the new versions of the standards. This will mean, among other things, systematizing quality management, environment and health and safety at work, through the use of innovative tools that involve a culture of innovation.

It should be noted that the Integrated System of Corporate Management (SIG-C) interrelates the elements used by the Company in daily management and the improvement of institutional performance, in order to deliver products and services that comply with all the adopted standards and requirements. of the interest groups, using as a base the management by processes, within the framework of the strategic and development plans.

This corporate tool manages environmental protection, the prevention of accidents, the deterioration of health at work and the satisfaction of the needs of customers. It also seeks to systematize quality management, environment and health and safety at work, through the use of a corporate application.

Through this system duplication of functions will be avoided, the quantity of documents will be significantly reduced and the effectiveness of all operational and administrative processes will be optimized. All of this will go hand in hand with an improvement in the reputation and image of the Company and a greater and better relationship with its stakeholders.
