Personnel hiring process continues for the new supply terminal in Ilo

Continuing with the fulfillment of the commitments made in the Environmental Impact Study and with the population of Ilo, PETROPERU, continues the work on what will be the new Ilo Supply Terminal, which will allow to satisfactorily cover the current and projected demand of liquid fuels destined to its zone of influence, constituted by the Moquegua and Tacna regions, which will be located 24 km south of the city. It should be noted that the process of hiring personnel - qualified and unqualified - is done through the Employment Exchange of the Ministry of Labor (MINTRA), Ilo headquarters.

The calls to cover the posts that are generated by the project are made by the contractors, through the publication of the requirement and respective profile in the front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (located in Jr. Abtao 665, 3rd floor, Ilo) and the Information Office of PETROPERU (to be activated soon).

Applicants must present their files at the MINTRA office, which, in turn, will send the list of applicants who meet the profile of the positions required to the contractor. They will carry out the technical and experience evaluation of the applicants for the definition of the labor contract.

It is worth mentioning that the system contemplates giving preference to the hiring of unskilled local labor, as long as the job profiles are fulfilled. Through this system, we ensure that the job opportunities are known to the majority of the population and the transparency in the hiring process. Likewise, the authenticity of the information presented by the applicants is verified.

Once the candidates are chosen, they must pass the induction and medical examination, in charge of the contractor company, as the last step for hiring.

Thus, PETROPERU reaffirms its commitment to work together for the development of Ilo, hand in hand with its authorities and population.
