Osinergmin delegation verified the progress on the construction of the New Talara Refinery

A delegation of the Supervisory Body for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin), led by its President, Daniel Schmerler Vainstein, made a visit to the construction of the new Talara Refinery, which recorded an integral advance of 78.47%.

During the tour they verified the works that are being carried out as part of this project, which includes the construction of 16 modern process units and five auxiliary units, which will allow to produce clean fuels that guarantee the preservation of the country's air quality.

Jorge Alméstar Mauricio, Manager of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT), accompanied the delegation during the tour, highlighting the construction process carried out under the highest standards of industrial safety, quality, management and environmental care.

The complexity of this construction was also highlighted, which is being executed simultaneously with the operation of the current refinery and will process up to 95 thousand barrels per day.
