Oily spots in the sea of Ilo are not related to PETROPERU

In response to journalistic versions that account for the presence of oily spots in the Ilo Sea, PETROPERU reports the following:

1. The Ilo Terminal is operated by the Consorcio Terminales company since 1998.
2. Upon learning of the presence of oil stains in the Ilo Sea, PETROPERU made contact with the terminal operator, who reported that on the day of the occurrence of this event, no ship was operating at the terminal's berth.
3. PETROPERU maintains the necessary coordination to keep the population informed about the results of the investigations available to the competent authorities.
