New Ilo Terminal reports progress of over 35 per cent

In front of journalistic versions on supposed breaches of PETROPERÚ in the progress of the works of the new Ilo Terminal, the Company addresses the public opinion in Iliana to clarify the following:

1. PETROPERU hired the Consorcio Felguera for the construction of the new Ilo Terminal through a public tender.

2. The work is in execution and has a physical advance of 35.02%. Therefore, the versions that the work is stopped or that there has not been progress in its construction are inaccurate.

3. In this sense, the necessary activities are carried out to ensure the continuity of the works. Likewise, Consorcio Felguera takes steps to resolve existing impasses with some subcontractors and find the solutions required to meet the project's objectives.

4. PETROPERU maintains constant communication with its contractor, Consorcio Felguera, and carries out a permanent follow-up to these efforts in order to reach feasible solutions that benefit companies and workers.

5. It should be noted that local labor continues to be given priority and the call process established is maintained, according to the required profiles and the progress of the work.
