New equipment for the Iquitos Refinery laboratory

Petroperú has put into operation 11 new pieces of equipment in its Selva Refinery laboratory, which will allow it to verify that the products of said complex comply with the technical and commercial specifications as part of the quality management system.

Among the equipment acquired, which has modern technology, are analytical balances, a vapor pressure analyzer, a water distiller, an analytical balance, a gas chromatograph and an automatic micro distiller, among others. Thanks to these new devices, the analysts will be in charge of analyzing both raw materials and final products, thus guaranteeing the highest quality at all times.

In addition, this equipment will allow reducing the time in the preparation of tests in the laboratory, guaranteeing the reliability of the results and making it possible to promptly attend to the quality certifications of its products.

It should be noted that the personnel and facilities of the Iquitos Refinery have safety equipment and strict procedures to control the risks linked to hydrocarbons because they are flammable products.
