Neighbors of Villa El Salvador benefited from free medical campaign
Hundreds of residents of the Virgen de la Candelaria and Parque Metropolitano human settlements, close to the Conchán Refinery, attended yesterday for free in the preventive health campaign carried out by PETROPERU in alliance with the Brisas de Pachacámac Health Post.
In this second medical campaign of the year, more than 700 attentions were registered in the specialties of pediatrics, general medicine, geriatrics, dentistry, ophthalmology, optometry, physical therapies and nutrition. Thus, vaccinations for children, anemia discards, rapid HIV and Hepatitis tests, and laboratory tests to measure glucose, triglycerides and hemoglobin were also performed.
To the above are added free legal and property consulting services, as well as the facilitation of the process of the National Identity Document (DNI) in coordination with the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (RENIEC) for the residents of the area.
The haircut service for children and adults was also provided, and families enjoyed a dog show and music band run by the National Police.
With these civic and preventive health activities, which are part of the company's social management plan, the work of rapprochement with the communities near its facilities continues, which seek to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of low-income populations.
