Neighbors of the South Cone benefit from free medical care
PETROPERU began its third free medical campaign in the Southern Cone of Talara, seeking to benefit more than a thousand residents of the 60 human settlements (AAHH), associations and urbanizations that make up that sector.
For five days, from October 14 to 18, the medical day will be held in the sports hall of the AAHH Maruja Sullón where mothers, children, adults and the elderly come to receive specialized care in the specialties of general medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, dentistry , pulmonology, nutrition, physical therapy and laboratory; receiving, according to diagnosis, medications at no cost.
This important initiative that benefits the low-income Talara families is part of the state oil company's commitments to the Local Development Support Program, the Community Relations Plan for the Environmental Impact Study, the Talara Refinery Modernization Project, which is committed to a better quality of life for the residents of the oil city from access to specialized medical services at no cost.
For a better quality of life
This year, PETROPERU has scheduled four free medical campaigns that will benefit more than 3,500 residents of low-income Talara. The first and second were performed in the North Cone and Talara respectively and the third in the Southern Cone. The last health campaign will be held in November in Satellite City. These activities are framed in the Social Management Plan of the Company.
