Neighbors of the north Talara cone enjoyed an Outdoor Film Night
Nearly 1,200 people, including children, youth and adults from the Northern Cone of the oil province, enjoyed Open Air Cinema, an activity to promote the seventh art in public spaces, organized by PETROPERU as part of the Cultural Program carried out in Talara, where the Talara Refinery Modernization Project is executed.
The cinephile activity was carried out on the sports platform of the Fisherman's Park of the AA.HH. San Pedro, at 7:00 p.m., with the screening of the movie "Dumbo"; adaptation released last May and that calls for reflection on the value of friendship, self-esteem and self-acceptance.
At the end of the function, leaders and neighbors of San Pedro, Barrio Estibadores, Las Mercedes, Vista al Mar, Jesús María, Las Peñitas, among others, thanked the initiative of the state oil company to bring a healthy entertainment option for children and youth.
Outdoor Cinema is an innovative proposal that gives the community in general the opportunity to enjoy a family cultural space, in a representative area of the city, contributing to the valuation of public spaces and community life.
Promoting culture and art
In line with its decentralized Cultural Policy, PETROPERU develops an annual Cultural Program for the city of Talara. He has performed Peruvian music and dance shows at Plaza Grau, symphonic concerts with the Philharmonic Society of Lima in the Youth House and Javier Pérez de Cuéllar Auditorium, open-air cinema days in the City Center and North Cone , inter-school dance competitions, literary essays, exhibitions, among other activities; with the aim of bringing art and culture to all corners of the country.
