More than a thousand neighbors benefited with free health day in Talara

PETROPERU carried out the fourth free medical campaign that takes place this year, benefiting more than a thousand people, including children, youth and adults in the North Cone of the city. The day will be held at the facilities of the Educational Institution 14901 Máximo Heraclio Cornejo Pacora.

The patients received attention in the specialties of general medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, dental health, psychology and obstetrics. In addition, they underwent laboratory tests and were given free medicines according to diagnosis.

In this medical campaign that was organized in synergy with the company Enel, the vaccination service was provided according to the MINSA scheme, benefiting dozens of children, who were protected from diseases such as hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, pneumonia or meningitis. Likewise, it had the participation of the nursing students of the Higher Technological Institute Luciano Castillo Coloma.

This health initiative is part of the Social Responsibility program For a better quality of life led by the state oil company and seeks to bring specialized medical services at no cost to the population  with limited economic resources of Talara.

Esta iniciativa de salud, forma parte del programa de Responsabilidad Social Por una mejor calidad de vida que lidera la petrolera estatal y que busca acercar servicios médicos especializados sin costo a la población talareña de escasos recursos económicos.

Next medical campaign

PETROPERU reported that as part of its commitment to the community of Talara, it plans to carry out a fifth and final free health campaign which will be carried out in Ciudad Satélite, benefiting the low-income residents of Enace, Sacopsa and Negreiros.
