Minor fire at Talara Refinery was controlled immediately

At around 6:05 a.m. today, Friday, September 22, a minor fire occurred in the Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCC) of the Talara Refinery, which was immediately controlled, in approximately five minutes, by the company's firefighting personnel.

The incident did not cause significant personal or material damage and activities in the refining complex continue to be carried out normally. The causes of the incident are the subject of investigation.

Petroperú has contingency plans in all its operations for timely attention to this type of incidents and to inform the competent authorities in a timely manner.
