Maintenance shutdown of the Flexicoking Unit of the New Talara Refinery has been completed

Regarding the start-up of the Flexicoking Unit (FCK) of the New Talara Refinery, Petroperú reports:

1. On June 30, the maintenance shutdown of the Flexicoking Unit (FCK) of the New Talara Refinery (NRT) was successfully completed.
2. Likewise, a failure in the Steam Generation System has caused restrictions in the supply of steam, which is essential for electricity generation, start-up of the FCK unit and self-consumption of the other units that are in operation.
3. Consequently, the start-up process of the FCK has been rescheduled, estimated for July 23, 2024, when the maintenance of the Steam Generation System is concluded.
4. It should be noted that the other units of the NRT remain in operation, producing fuels for the national market such as Premium and Regular Gasoline, Turbo, Diesel, LPG, among others.
